Some of most acclaimed artists and sportspersons of country came toger to hit out at global attention brought to farmer protests, courtesy Rihanna and Greta Thunberg. Ranvir Shorey also joined team against ‘propaganda’ but h a rar quirky style, expressing his thoughts in form of a song. actor alleged that those backing farmer protests were firing off farmers’ shoulders to make ‘Pappu’ Prime Minister, an alleged dig at Congress Member of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi.

Sharing a video where he was seen playing guitar, Ranvir can be heard singing, “Rihanna toh bahana hai, kisa ke khando se bandook chalana hai. Greta toh unph hai. Modi ko sharminda karke, Papppu PM banana hai.” (Rihanna is just an excuse, y want to fire off farmers’shoulders. Greta is illiterate. y want to emnbarass Modi, and make Pappu PM)
Later, Angrezi Medium star expressed his delight on song going ‘viral’ and believed that it was more for its lucidity than its melody.

He also hit out at trolls, who called him a ‘Sanghi’. actor quipped that he did t consider m insults.

Ranvir also hit back at a netizen who asked him to inste focus on his movies.
In ar tweet, he termed farm laws as that 'legislated by an elected govt. with spirit to uplift lives of farmer', while expressing displeasure over comparisons me to it with Holocaust, Aparid, Gecide of Uighurs, Murder & exodus of Rohingyas.

He wrote that 'hypocrisy of global Left-Lib'' cabal knew bounds.
Ranvir Shorey joined likes of Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Virat Kohli, Lata Mangeshkar, among ors who used hashtags like ‘India Toger’ to highlight that an amicable solution was being worked out between farmers and Government while hitting out at 'propaganda.' This was after pop star Rihanna, activist Greta Thunberg, former porn star ors tweeted in solidarity of protesting farmers.
