Raveena Tandon becomes a Nani again, welcomes grandchild home

The evergreen beauty Raveena Tandon has become a Nani again! Raveena’s daughter Chhaya gave birth to a healthy child on September 19, 2019. Raveena shared wedding pictures on Instagram when Chhaya married Shawn Mendes in Goa in the year 2017. Raveena posted the pictures of the celebrations on her Instagram handle. The actor posted a compilation of pictures where she can be seen in simple attire. She is wearing a plain white Kurti paired with a bandhani dupatta.

Raveena had also posted pictures of Chhaya’s baby shower. Chhaya can be seen wearing a sash that says ‘Mom-to-be’ while Shawn is sporting a red tie that reads Dad-to-be. The jubilant Raveena looks like a proud mother as she poses with her children.

Pooja Makhija, who is reportedly a close friend and nutritionist to Raveena, also posted pictures from the baby shower on her Instagram account. The post includes Pooja and Raveena's selfie as she points at a badge that Raveena has pinned on her dress. The badge read 'Nani-to-be'. She also tagged young Rasha, calling her an excellent host of the event.

Raveena opened up in an interview with a daily newspaper about her family and her children. In the year 1995, Raveena revealed that she had adopted Chhaya and Pooja when they were just 8 and 11 years old respectively. Raveena was just 21 years old when she took this decision to become a mother to two orphans. Pooja works as an event manager and is a mother to a son, added Raveena. Raveena married distributor Anil Thadani in 2003 and has two children with him. Their elder daughter Rasha is 14 years old while son Ranbir is 12 years old.
