Akshay Kumar is one of best action heroes and is also well-kwn for bringing social issues in everyone’s attention through his films. In 2018, Akshay Kumar played le character in R Balki’s P Man that focused on importance of a sanitary napkin in a woman’s life. Throwback to when P Man Akshay Kumar wore a sanitary napkin

t only was Akshay Kumar’s acting in P Man was very convincing but he physically wore one of sanitary ps during shoot to understand character better.  According to reports from Telly Chakkar, director of movie, R Balki spoke about incident during a media interaction after a screening of movie at Indus Valley International Film Festival. When R Balki was asked if Akshay Kumar was hesitant while doing scene, he said "t at all". Recalling entire scene, R Balki said that y h re that scene so many times and y h even acted out scene over and over again.

director revealed that in actual moment when p was being worn, Akshay Kumar told him that he didn't kw what he was feeling, as he can't even explain feeling. Akshay Kumar said that he doesn't even kw wher sanitary napkin was uncomfortable, but it's like a thing one would never do as a man. R Balki claimed that Akshay Kumar described it as a "very beautiful feeling” and mentioned that it was "something that maybe I will never do again in life but I'm doing it once as an actor".

While talking about shooting movie as a whole, R Balki said that y shot in Maheshwar, that is actually a temple town near Narma river. y shot scene where Akshay Kumar’s character jumps into water wearing sanitary p in that town. R Balki revealed that re were a lot of religious people, hes of vill, and everybody else. Even though y all knew what makers were doing, y all supported it.

Akshay Kumar played le character in comedy-drama, P Man, written and directed by R Balki. movie also cast Rhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja as or le characters in movie. plot of film is inspired by life of social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social entrepreneur from Tamil Nu. It became a major critical and huge commercial success. At 66th National Films Award, P Man received award for Best Film on Or Social Issues. Akshay Kumar's performance in movie was praised a lot, for which he even received a Best Actor mination at  64th Filmfare Awards.
