Rishi Kapoor praises Ayushmann & Ranbir; says actors need to work on their mind, not body

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is one of India's most rewned actors and a relevant figure in industry even to this day. actor made his debut in 1970 film Mera Naam Joker and has worked in Bollywood industry for nearly five decades. veteran actor also has an upcoming movie titled Body that is currently in works and is set to release this year on December 13, 2019. Rishi Kapoor recently gave an interview to an Indian news ncy where he talked about what advice he would give to new generation of actors in Bollywood.

When Rishi was asked what his advice for budding actors of Bollywood would be, he replied by saying that actors of current are more interested in building up ir bodies. He continued by saying that new actors concentrate more on physical exercise rar than emotional exercise, which is more important for actors. He said that y should work more on ir mind than on ir body, as, if y develop acting skills, n y will surely become successful actors.

He added that if y do t have acting chops, n y will simply be replaceable. Rishi n gives his own example by saying that he himself does t have a good body. However, he still gets roles because he works on perfecting his character in every film that he is featured in.

Furr on, Rishi also says that he might be old but he has inspired a few newer actors. He praises actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal and even names his son, Ranbir Kapoor. He says that ne of m have great muscles, because muscles do t make actor. He adds that spending time in gym will only make you spend money and t ensure a career in acting. He even refers to Amitabh Bachchan, saying that legendary Bollywood superstar also does t have a great body but is loved anyways for his amazing talent.
