Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor celebrates 42 years of his classic cult film 'Doosara Aadmi' with a priceless throwback picture.

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor's cult classic Doosara Aadmi clocked 42 years of its release on Monday, October 14. To mark the occasion, the veteran star put out a nostalgic post on social media. He shared the poster of Doosara Aadmi on his official Twitter handle and thanked the production house- Yash Raj Films, and director, Ramesh Talwar for their contribution to the project. He said that Doosara Aadmi was a love story much ahead of its time. Taking a stroll down memory lane, Rishi Kapoor further wrote, "The perspectives of the characters shocked people then and today, so rampant in our society."

Rishi Kapoor also shared a throwback picture from the premiere of Doosara Aadmi in a consecutive post to commemorate the special day. The has some legendary personalities posing together for the shutterbugs. In the old snap, one can spot young Yash Chopra with the dapper lead actor Rishi and director of the film Ramesh Talwar.

Doosara Aadmi
The story of the iconic film Doosara Aadmi revolves around Nisha (Raakhee), an advertising industry professional, who becomes a recluse after the tragic death of her boyfriend, Shashi Saigal (Shashi Kapoor). Years later, Karan Saxena (Rishi) offers her employment with his advertising agency and she accepts it. She realizes that Karan, who recently married Timsy (Neetu Singh), reminds her of Shashi. The film hit screens on 14 October 1977.
The verified page of Yash Raj Films shared the poster of the film to celebrate the milestone. "A classic tale that is beyond just a love story," the page captioned the poster.
What's next for Rishi Kapoor
Rishi Kapoor who recently returned to the country after prolonged treatment in New York was last seen in the film, 'Jhootha Kahin Ka' on July 19. It was Rishi Kapoor's comeback to the big screens after 'Kapoor & sons', that released in 2017. Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor also made his Netflix debut with the film, 'Rajma Chawal'.
