Recently, the actor was spotted with his brothers Randhir and Rajiv Kapoor along with son Ranbir Kapoor at Ganesh Visarjan at RK Studios, which is currently up for sale. The famous RK Studio was engulfed in the fire last year, at which point it was assumed that the Kapoor family would be rebuilding it. But that doesn't appear to be on the cards as all three brothers, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor and Rajeev Kapoor, collaboratively decided to sell off the property with a 'very heavy heart'. The studio has witnessed a lot of cult classics being shot by filmmakers like Manmohan Desai and Dev Anand who would hire the studio to shoot their films.

Rishi Kapoor has had two back-to-back releases in 2018. The actor was seen sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Umesh Shukla's directorial '102 Not Out', after which he was seen in Anubhav Sinha's directorial 'Mulk' starring Taapsee Pannu. 'Rajma Chawal' will be the 'Hum Tum' actor's third film to release in 2018. Reportedly, the film is an emotional roller-coaster, interspersing grief and the pressure of family expectations with humour, compassion and love.
