RARKPK Box Office Collection Day 5: Ranveer Singh- Alia Bhatt film earns Rs 60.22 crore

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani remains steady

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani opened to  Rs 11.1 crores at the domestic box office on July 28. Since then the movie has been doing business riding on positive word of mouth. Trade analyst Sumit Kadel said that the movie earned Rs 7.30 crore on Tuesday. This took the movie’s total business in five days to Rs 60.22 crore.

The film is holding steady at the box office despite it being a working day. On Monday it minted Rs 7.02 crore and saw a growth in business on the following day. As per Sacnilk, the Alia Bhatt starrer is running with a 28.01% hall occupancy for the night shows. 

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani sustains in the face of competition 

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is not only drawing audiences to theatres but has also been able to sustain in the face of competition from Hollywood releases Barbie and Oppenheimer. In the second week of their theatrical run, the business of Barbie and Oppenheimer has slowed down.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. Good word of mouth has helped the film’s business. However, the coming week remains crucial to see if the film can breach the Rs 100 crore mark.
