Mother’s Day was celebrated on May 12th this year. But unlike most people out there, Saand Ki Aankh actor Taapsee Pannu does not believe in Mother’s Day. According to her, there should not be just one particular day to celebrate the sacrifice and love of mothers everywhere. Her recent social media post is enough proof of the actor’s belief.

Taapsee Pannu posts a picture with her mother

Taapsee Pannu had shared a picture with her mother from the sets of Saand Ki Aankh. The actor credits her mother for bringing out the best in her and being able to play the toughest role of her career with ease and grace. In the post, she also said that every mother should not miss out on their lives while raising a family. She wants to watch the movie with her mother.

Saand Ki Aankh is a biopic on the older sharpshooters of India, Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar. The duo hail from Johri village in Uttar Pradesh. They had taken to the sport in their late fifties and are also the world's oldest sharpshooters. Chandro, who is also called 'Shooter Dadi' is being played by Bhumi Pednekar. Prakashi, on the other hand, is called 'Revolver Dadi' and played by Taapsee Pannu. During the one month shoot of Saand Ki Aankh in Meerut, Taapsee had stayed at Chandro's house. She shared her experience through a short video on her Twitter handle -

Saand Ki Aankh has released its trailer already. The movie is all set for a Diwali release this year. Tushar Hiranandani will debut as a director in this movie. Saand Ki Aankh is jointly produced by Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar.
