Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Saand Ki Aankh is considered to be the most anticipated films of the year. Helmed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film chronicles the story of India's oldest sharpshooters, Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. Bhumi plays the role of Chandro and Taapsee essays the character of Prakashi in the film. Makers of Saand Ki Aankh have released two songs from the film that garnered a positive appreciation from fans. Aasmaa, the third song from Saand Ki Aankh, released yesterday on YouTube, October 14, and hit 1.6 million views in a day.

Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar shared multiple stories about the release of their third song Aasmaa from Saand Ki Aankh, that amped up the excitement of fans for the film. The other two songs from the film, Womaniya and Udta Teetar had also garnered a lot of appreciation from fans. Fans have shared their comments about the song on social media. The track Aasma focusses on the emotional tangent of the film. In the video, Taapsee and Bhumi chart the struggles and challenges that they, and their daughters, had to go through in their journey of becoming sharpshooters. The two-minute visual will make you witness the brutal pressures they faced from the men in their village, who behave as strong barriers between women and their goals. The legendary singer Asha Bhosle has sung this emotional melody.

In an interview with a news daily, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar shared about their struggles to fit into the characters of Saand Ki Aankh. Taapsee stated that she stayed in Johri village for months to learn about their culture and ethics. Taapsee further added that she would always cross her fingers before reaching the sets. Adding to this, Bhumi said that they have undergone tremendous training sessions to portray their characters on screen. Saand Ki Aankh is just ten days away from its release and the cast of the film cannot keep calm about it. Taapsee and Bhumi have flooded their social media handles with videos and photographs, that gave fans a glimpse of how excited they are about the film’s release. Saand Ki Aankh will hit the theatres on October 25.
