'Sacred Games' finds space at Emmy's, Saif Ali Khan reacts

"It's great (moment), I mean idea was to do something honest on a platform that is kind of international. Something like 'Narcos' that is a Netflix original and y encour you to tell your story way you do but in an international way to an international audience. "Hence I feel in a way it is well deserved to have been minated at an international platform. Full credit to team and production and of course directors and lovely actors," Saif, who has won a lot of appreciation for his performance as Sartaj Singh, told PTI.

Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan directed second season of "Sacred Games" while Vikramitya Motwane served as showrunner. Apart from 'Sacred Games 2', anthology film 'Lust Stories' and Amazon Prime Video's ' Remix' are minated for International Emmy Awards.

'Sacred Games' 2 aired on August 15, wherein Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui reprised ir roles as Sartaj Singh and Ganesh Gaitonde. Meanwhile, new season also saw Pankaj Tripathi in a full-fledged role as Guruji. Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey were also latest ditions to series. And, just like first part of series, Anurag Kashyap has directed certain portions featuring Nawazudddin Siddiqui, while Neeraj Dhawan of 'Masaan' fame directed scenes featuring Saif Ali Khan.
