Saif Ali Khan’s Jawaani Jaanmeman’s release date postponed

After performing an unexpected role in the movie Lal Kaptaan, Saif Ali Khan is reportedly gearing up to entertain the audience with his next release tentatively titled Jawaani Jaaneman. The movie was originally supposed to hit the silver screens on November 29, but the release date has been pushed further away by the makers of the movie. The movie will now release next year and the new release date remains undisclosed.

The sudden change in the release of the movie did leave the audience a little disappointed. However, it is reported that the creators took the decision of postponing the release following a new addition in the movie. They want to add a promotional song in the movie and Saif Ali Khan is busy with his ongoing professional commitments. Along with it, Saif Ali Khan is required to be seen in a particular look in the song reportedly which made the makers take the decision.

Saif Ali Khan will reportedly be seen playing the role of a 40-year-old father in the movie, according to media buzz. Alaia Furniturewalla will play the role of his daughter. The movie will mark her debut in the Bollywood film industry. Jawaani Jaaneman is a romantic-comedy. It is directed by Nitin Kakkar and is produced by Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment in collaboration with Saif Ali Khan’s Black and Knight Film. Tabu will be playing the role of Alaia F’s mother in the movie.

Apart from Jawaani Jaaneman, Saif Ali Khan is currently working for his next web series Tandav. He will also be seen in Om Raut’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The movie will also star Ajay Devgn in the lead role. Saif Ali Khan will be seen playing the role of a Rajput warrior, Udaybhan Singh Rathod.
