Saina Nehwal biopic: Actor Manav Kaul shares first look of the Parineeti Chopra starrer

Ace badminton player Saina Nehwal's biopic was in the news for a long time. Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor was roped in to portray the role of Saina but she later dropped out of the project. Recently, Parineeti Chopra was brought on board to essay the role. Though no first look of the characters or actors were available before this, actor Manav Kaul has taken to Twitter to share his first look from the film.

Manav Kaul's first look from Saina Nehwal's biopic

Manav Kaul will be seen playing the role of Saina Nehwal's coach in the biopic. As per reports, Manav's character is not based on a specific coach but derived from multiple coaches who have helped Saina reach glory in her career. Recently while speaking to a news daily, Manav Kaul shared his thoughts ad experiences of playing the character. 

As per reports, Manav Kaul has been prepping for the role since a few months now. He stated that he has been training in badminton and increasing his stamina. He added that earlier it would get difficult for him to practise as his stamina was low. Manav would fall down within just ten minutes of playing on the field. Saina Nehwal also commented on the first look shared by Manav Kaul, calling it amazing. 

The leading lady of the film, Parineeti Chopra has gone through a neck injury during training for the role. The actor has been quite open about her recovery status, sharing snippets from her recovery procedure. She stated that the team working on the film were working hard to avoid any injuries during the training and shoots but it happened regardless.
