Ace shuttler Saina Nehwal condoled demise of Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, who passed away d 53 at  Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday. Taking to Twitter, Saina Nehwal shared a picture with star and recalled an shoot with 'legend'. shuttler paid tribute to late actor and fondly remembered 'great memories' with him.

His team released following statement

 “I trust, I have surrendered”; se were some of many words that Irrfan expressed in a heart felt te he wrote in 2018 opening up about his fight with cancer. And a man of few words and an actor of silent expressions with his deep eyes and  his memorable actions on screen. It’s sdening that this day, we have to bring forward news of him passing away. Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him. After having been struck by lightning in 2018 with news of a rare cancer, he took life soon after as it came and he fought many battles that came with it. Surrounded by his love, his family for whom he most cared about, he left for heaven abode, leaving behind truly a legacy of his own. We all pray and hope that he is at peace. And to resonate and part with his words he h said, “As if I was tasting life for first time, magical side of it”.

Irrfan Khan h won National Award for Best Actor his work in Paan Singh Tomar. He was kwn for his numerous or acclaimed works in films like  Namesake, Lunchbox, Talwar, Piku and Hindi Medium that fetched him numerous awards.  He was table for his work in Hollywood, with roles in films like Slumdog Millionaire,  Amazing Spider-Man, Life of Pi, Namesake and Infer. Irrfan was last seen in Angrezi Medium, last major film to release before COVID-19 pandemic, and earned praises from celebrities after its digital premiere.
