Salad dressings that will make your kids fall in love with salads

Salad can turn out to be a bland meal for many who prefer eating spicy or delicious food. Especially kids, they do not prefer having salads at all. Just vegetables or fruits with some spices may not be a perfect fit for kids. Instead of serving them undressed in a bowl, drizzle some dressing over the salad. Here are some salad dressings that kids would love.
Blueberry dressing
- 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Combine all the ingredients and blend the mixture until it is smooth. Strain it and keep it in the refrigerator. You can use it over spinach and cheese salads.

Cheesy salad dressing
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup tamari
- 1 clove garlic
- 3/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
- 1/2 cup canola or grapeseed oil
Put cider vinegar, water, tamari, garlic, and nutritional yeast flakes into a blender. Pour oil over the dressing and refrigerate it for two weeks. Shake well before serving. You can serve this with extra cheese for your kids.

Orange salad dressing
- 1/3 cup of orange juice
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Put all the ingredients in the blender and make a smooth paste out of it. This dressing is slightly sweet and sour that would add flavour to your salad.

Raspberry salad dressing
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen, thawed
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Blend all the ingredients into a smooth paste and refrigerate. This dressing is good for a salad with loads of vegetables. This will make your kids eat all kinds of vegetables willingly.
