Pakistani singer Farhan Saeed, who was former member of country's popular band 'Jal' has slammed Indian singer Salim Merchant for plagiarising his song, 'Roiyaan'. "I wonder y have audacity to call mselves artists when y steal someone's work", Saeed accused. Responding to Pakistani singer, Salim claimed that he has given Saeed's 2014 song a listen and that it was a 'mere coincidence', as 'many a times tes have a natural progression from each or'.

Pakistani singer n went on to point out that two of m had same lyricist, to which, Salim responded saying that he should n most definitely be checking with him. "If I had to copy, I would have done that way long back in my career. I really wish I had heard your song before I made mine", he said
