Through a video message, Bollywood actor Salman Khan has expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the medical and police officers along with concerns for safety.

He has especially appealed to citizens to take present crisis very seriously and t spread rumours. He has sternly said that people should stop considering lockdown as a public holiday and follow all precautionary measures for ir own safety and well as that of country.

Dabangg star, along with his far Salim Khan and his brors, has also pledged to look after expenses of 25000 workers in film industry registered at Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). Salman Khan has also been taking care of daily w earners at his production house as well as building he lives in. Salim Khan had revealed that actor will also be taking care of medical expenses of technicians and daily w workers in film industry who have had to face dire consequences of lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic in India.

Impact of coronavirus in India

deadly virus, which originated in China, has w become primary cause for concern of entire world. In India, total number of confirmed cases has crossed 6000 and has claimed over 200 lives since outbreak in December 2019. Government of India has implemented a total lockdown in country for 21 days starting from March 25 and it is expected to be extended furr due to alarming rate at which cases have been rising in country.
