Sanjana Sanghi's Bollywood career started in 2011 Ranbir Kapoor's critical success Rockstar. When she was 14 years old, the Delhi-based girl played the role of Heer’s sister in Imtiaz Ali’s musical drama. Heer was played by Nargis Fakhri. Sanghi also appeared in Saket Choudhary’s comedy film Hindi Medium and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s Fukrey Returns in 2017.

Adaptation of John Green's novel
Sanjana Sanghi is gearing up for her big Bollywood debut alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in Dil Bechara. Helmed by Mukesh Chhabra and produced by Fox Star Studios, is slated to release on November 29. The coming-of-age romantic film is based on John Green’s novel The Fault in Our Stars, which was also adapted into the movie featuring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort.

The Instagram picture on the sets of Rockstar
According to reports, Sanjana Sanghi got her role besides Sushant Singh Rajput because of her brief role in Rockstar. The debutant once posted her picture on the sets of Rockstar with Nargis Fakhri on her Instagram. In the caption, she expressed her emotions about the film and how it changed her. She also wrote, “I vividly remember some feelings, some moments, some smells - through the valleys of Kashmir, the quaintness of Dharamshala and the quirkiness of Delhi.” Check out the post below.

The plot of the movie
The Fault in Our Stars revolves around two cancer patients who meet at a cancer support group and fall in love. Hazel Grace Lancaster, also the protagonist narrates, her story. She suffers from thyroid cancer and meets an ex-basketball player Augustus Waters. Apart from the novel becoming a bestseller, the movie adaptation was a huge commercial success.
