Sanjana Sanghi Misses Sushant Singh Rajput As Dil Bechara Completes 4 Years

Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi starrer Dil Bechara was released posthumously on the streaming platform Disney Plus Hotstar.

Sanjana Sanghi made her acting debut as a child actor in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar. After proving her mettle in the entertainment industry with cameos and small roles, she made her full-fledged debut as an adult with Dil Bechara alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. Today, July 24, marks four years since the movie released. To celebrate the milestone, the actress shared a post on her social media handle and revealed that she misses the late actor.

For the unversed, Dil Bechara marked Sushant's last movie as he died by suicide on June 14, 2020, before the release of the film.

The actress took to her Instagram handle and shared two photos from the movie. The first is a still from the movie featuring Sushant. The next is from Sanjana's introductory scene. In the caption, she penned a heartfelt note expressing gratitude for the love the movie, and her character received.

"4 years to this most special day. A day for me to reflect on the unbelievable journey thus far, and immerse myself in nostalgia. Can never be grateful enough for the boundless love you have all given Dil Bechara and Kizie Basu, always and always. Can never be grateful enough for the excitement I feel in my heart to be given this opportunity to entertain you all. Thank you. A million times over," she wrote. The actress signed off by writing, "Miss you Sush," followed by an infinity emoticon.

What's next for Sanjana Sanghi?

After the release of Dil Bechara, Sanjana starrer in a handful of movies such as Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Rashtra Kavach Om, Dhak Dhak and Kadak Singh. Recently, she was seen in Woh Bhi Din The, a coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama helmed by Sajid Ali. Apart from her, the movie stars Rohit Saraf and Adarsh Gourav in the lead roles. The soundtrack is composed by Joi Barua and the lyrics is written by Irshad Kamil and Vishwadeep Zeest. It premiered on ZEE5.
