Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata talk about turning producers in Prasthanam
Sanjay Dutt had a roller-coaster life. But now his ship seems steady with Maanayata as his anchor. The actor talks about his life and Prasthanam production.

Prasthanam was one of the most anticipated Sanjay Dutt movies which is being produced by his wife Maanayata Dutt. She has stepped into the role of a producer for the first time. The movie is a Hindi remake of a Telegu movie of the same name. Prasthanam is directed by the original director of the Telugu version, Deva Katta. The movie has released on September 20.

Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata Dutt on working as producers for Prasthanam:
The couple recently appeared in an interview where they talked about their work dynamics, their home and their bond. The two have currently produced Prasthanam together. Sanjay Dutt had reportedly said that he felt proud of Maanayata taking control of the production. To this Maanyata added that the actor was a tremendous support during the Prasthanam project. Without him, she would not have been able to function well. This was the reason for which the production of Prassthanam was kept on hold until Sanjay’s return from jail. Their production house is working on interesting projects now says Maanayata, and this new producer needs Sanjay by her side to get through this journey.

Sanjay Dutt said that he has no regrets in life. The actor said that because of the 25-year long court case and jail term, he has lost many years of his youth. But now he looks back at those years positively trying to learn from those experiences. Prasthanam saw the cast, Manisha Koirala, Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff, reunited after two decades. The trio had previously worked on Mahesh Bhatt’s 1999 release, Kartoos. In the teaser launch, all of them recalled that working on Prasthanam was a surreal experience. Sanjay Dutt is currently working on a lot of films. He is a part of two period-dramas, Panipat and Prithviraj, along with Sadak 2 and Sher among the others.
