Sara Ali Khan-Kartik Aaryan have split? Producer Dinesh Vijan reacts

Who is Kartik Aaryan dating? Is it Sara Ali Khan or is it Ananya Panday? Or is he just ‘good friends’ with them. If Kartik and Sara were dating, have they broken up now? As is the story with most B-Town couples, there are questions galore but finding the ‘truth’ is hard, while speculation continues to swirl over the exact equation till then. However, if a statement from Dinesh Vijan is anything to go by, it seems Kartik and Sara were a couple at some point. The producer, whose sequel to Love Aaj Kal stars the duo, said that he was not aware that the two were dating, but refused to get into their rumoured ‘break-up.’

In a recent interview with a tabloid, Dinesh Vijan was asked if the ‘split’ between Kartik and Sara would affect the box office performance of the movie. The producer replied that he didn’t know that that the two were ‘dating.’ The statement can be considered as a confirmation about the two being a couple till some weeks ago, but there is no clarity on whether the pair is still together. He, however, termed them as ‘strong’ actors who already are receiving the ‘love’ of the audiences.

Dinesh Vijan added that with ‘master of heartbreaks’ Imtiaz Ali portraying how love has changed since Saif Ali Khan-Deepika Padukone’s era, he was confident about it being the ‘perfect’ Valentine’s Day release. Dinesh added that a lot has changed since little Sara being present at the puja when Love Aaj Kal went on floors to being the lead of the second installment. He also shared that after delivering a hit with Kartik, Luka Chuppi, taking this journey ahead was ‘heart-warming.’

Love Aaj Kal

Love Aaj Kal had released in 2009. The movie was a big success at the box office. Saif was also a producer on the movie. Saif and Deepika then worked together in Cocktail, again produced by Saif-Dinesh, and even that was a success. However, Saif and Dinesh Vijan parted ways as production partners later on.The songs from Pritam in both these ventures were among the other highlights of the movie.
