Sarfira Theatres Empty, Aly Goni's Post On Akshay Kumar's Film Goes Viral

Akshay Kumar's film Sarfira is struggling to make a mark at the box office. The remake of critically acclaimed Tamil feature Soorarai Pottru, starring Suriya, Sarfira has received good reviews, but despite that, it has not been to pull the audiences to cinema halls. TV actor Aly Goni also went to watch the film but expressed disappointment seeing an empty theatre.

Sarfira'is directed by Sudha Kongara in which Akshay's character is on a mission to launch an affordable airline. The story of the film has managed to touch the hearts of the people but the love has not translated into box office numbers. Why did Aly Goni feel sad while watching Sarfira?

Aly Goni is very active on social media and shares his opinion on the trending issues of the country. Recently, he has talked about Akshay Kumar's latest film Sarfira. He shared a photo from inside the theatre, which was totally empty.

With this, he wrote in his Instagram stories, "It feels very bad to see empty theaters on the fourth day of such a beautiful film. Friends, please go to see Sarfira. Amazing direction and acting."

Did Sarfira pass the Monday test at the box office?

After registering a low opening of ₹2.5 crore on July 12, the box office collection of the film increased slightly over the weekend. After Saturday and Sunday's earnings, the collections of Sarfira have gone up to ₹12.50 crore. However, on Monday, the numbers declined. On its fourth day, Sarfira earned only ₹1.40 crore which is its lowest number till date. Now the total collection of the film stands at ₹13.9 crore.
