Shah Rukh Khan has a long list of iconic roles in Bollywood and the actor has successfully managed to win several hearts with his acting skills. Disney’s live-action version of The Lion King was reported to be one of the greatest stories ever in Disney’s franchise. As reports reveal, amongst all of SRK’s films, the Hindi version of The Lion King was one such movie that fixed a special place in the actor’s heart. He repeatedly shared how grateful he was for the opportunity that brought him and his son Aryan Khan together to work on a project after 2004.

SRK’s film The Lion King (Hindi version) was a success at the box office. Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan's role in the film was only to dub the character ‘Mufasa.' In a candid interview with the media, Shah Rukh Khan shared that he loved being on the sets of The Lion King. He said that he was overwhelmed by the fact that fans thought his voice and Aryan’s voice were very close to being similar in the movie. He thanked his co-stars Sanjay Mishra, Shreyas Talpade, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Asrani for their teamwork and also said that The Lion King film was a remarkable movie in the industry only because of the support of its cast. He took to his Twitter to thank on behalf of his son Aryan and also the sound production team - Mona and Mayur gang (Shah Rukh Khan’s words) that made him sound brilliant in the film.

In conversation with the media, Shreyas Tadpale shared that Shah Rukh Khan and he had different slots to dub, but each time they bumped into each other, he felt privileged to be a part of a film that had SRK in it. The Hindi version of the film The Lion King amassed a total of Rs. 54.47 crores within just three days of its release. Indeed, The Lion King was well appreciated by critics. According to reports, there are speculations that Shah Rukh Khan will soon start shooting for his upcoming flick Don 3 after his last release, Zero.
