The actor on Monday shared monochrome sun-kissed pictures of himself where he can be seen standing behind a net donning a dark colored hoodie. Shahid Kapoor was recently in the headlines as he was reported to be diagnosed with stomach cancer. However, the actor recently rubbished all the reports and clarified he is completely fit and fine. On Monday, the 37-year-old actor tweeted: "Guys I'm totally fine please don't believe random stuff."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last featured in Shree Narayan Singh's 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nishant Pitti and Krishan Kumar the film tanked at the box office. He is currently busy shooting for his upcoming venture 'Kabir Singh'. The actor took to Instagram on Sunday, November 25, and announced the making of the film. Sharing a monochrome behind-the-scenes picture from the film, the actor unveiled his first look from the film where he can be seen sporting a trimmed beard. 'Kabir Singh' is written and directed by Sandeep Vanga. The project is jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series and stars Kiara Advani opposite Shahid Kapoor in the lead. As per media reports, the film narrates the story of an alcoholic surgeon named Kabir Singh, who has anger management issues. He goes on a self-destructive path after his ex-lover gets married to someone else. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 21, 2019.
