Shahid Kapoor's 'Jersey' shoot was suspended amid the coronavirus scare. The actor tweeted a message for his fans, urging them to be safe and responsible.

Shahid took to Twitter to share update about shoot being postponed for w, to ensure safety of cast and crew and prevent spre of virus.

PTI quoted a source revealing that shoot has been called off for next 2-3 weeks.

Shahid h been shooting for film in Chandigarh. Previously, updates about film, like his first look, videos from practice session and his injury on sets, h gone viral.

Jersey is a cricket-based film, remake of Telugu film of same name starring Nani. film is being helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who h directed original, and movie is gearing up for release on August 28, 2020. remake also stars Mrunal Thakur. 

Earlier, shooting of Salman Khan-Disha Patani-s Rhe: Your Most Wanted in Thailand was reportedly postponed. Reports also claim shoot of Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra has been put off for moment. Many films down South have taken a similar decision.

Among or events to be affected by coronavirus, have been postponement of IIFA Awards and release of Sooryavanshi scheduled for later this month. 

India has reported two deaths and 82 cases of coronavirus/COVID-19. Across world, over 5000 have lost ir lives in pandemic and number of cases are over 1 lakh.
