Shatrughan Sinha Discharged From Hospital After Suffering From High Fever, Confirms Son Luv

Shatrughan Sinha recently suffered a minor health setback due to which he was rushed to the hospital. The veteran actor was running a high fever due to which he was admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai. Reports of his ill health began circulating days after the wedding of his daughter Sonakshi Sinha with Zaheer Iqbal. 

Shatrughan Sinha’s son confirms actor is back home 

Veteran actor and TMC MP Shatrughan Sinha, who was admitted to a private hospital last week after developing a high fever, is back home, said his son Luv Sinha on Wednesday. The 77-year-old, popular for the '70s and '80s films such as Kalicharan, Vishwanath, Kaala Patthar, Jaani Dushman and Kranti, was discharged on Tuesday, he added. Sinha also underwent a routine check-up at the medical facility.

"My father has been home since yesterday and was there (at the hospital) for three days to recover from a high fever and get all his tests done," Luv told PTI in a WhatsApp message. Previously, Luv thanked well-wishers for their concern over his father's health, saying he was admitted to the hospital after he developed a "strong fever" and not because he underwent any surgery.

Shatrughan Sinha shares snap from the hospital

On July 2, Shatrughan Sinha, who is admitted to a hospital here, says he is away from the "controversy and confusion" created by a section of social media influencers and spending time with family and friends as he is nursed back to health. While he didn't share his health status, Sinha posted a couple of pictures from his hospital room where he could be seen watching Sunday's T20 World Cup final, in which India emerged victorious, with family and friends.

"Away from the 'controversy & confusion' created by some of our good friends from the social media/Youtubers. The fact is enjoying with best of our family members, brothers & dear friends," the actor-TMC MP wrote in an X post on Monday. Some on social media had speculated about the actor's ill health just after daughter Sonakshi Sinha's marriage to Zaheer Iqbal.
