Reportedly, movie narrates story of two women in love, and how y try to break societal rm to sustain ir love. movie also stars Shabana Azmi, as Swara Bhasker's mor. 

Sheer Qorma is directed by Faraz Arif Ansari. director was last associated with a short film, titled Sisak. 20-minute short film has featured in 140 film festivals and is applauded by critics and audiences respectively. director posted a heartfelt post, appreciating performance and dedication of Swara Bhasker. Swara was last seen in Shashanka Ghosh's Veere Di Wedding. movie had an ensemble cast consisting of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Shikha Talsania, Swara Bhasker, among ors. movie was a box office hit and critics lauded Swara's performance as Sakshi Soni. Reportedly makers are working on sequel to 2018 hit movie. Aside from  sequel of Veere Di Wedding, actor is rumoured to also feature in a mini-series titled, Flesh.
