Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has reportedly sent his statement to Bandra police through an e-mail in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's case since he is t present in Mumbai. According to media sources, Mumbai police have stated that investigation team needs more clarity on case and director will also be summoned for recording his statement once he is back in city.  A senior IPS officer has also revealed this in an interaction with a daily.

Shekhar Kapur's statement to be recorded in person

He said that police officials have summoned Mr. India director to come and record his statement based on tweet he had shared one day after Sushant's demise. officer furr revealed that filmmaker has sent some details through an e-mail but officials still require more clarity on it. He added that director's detailed statement will be recorded once he is back in city.

Shekhar Kapur shared a cryptic tweet

officer reportedly did t reveal much about information sent by Bandit Queen director but he hinted that y will be considered for late actor's suicide case. For unversed, Shekhar's cryptic tweet on June 15, 2020, had given rise to some conspiracy ories surrounding Chhichhore actor's death. Masoom director tweeted saying that he was aware of pain which Sushant was going through.

He added that he knew story of people who had let actor down so bad that he would often weep in director's shoulders. filmmaker mentioned on tweet that he wished that he was around to provide some solace to late actor during last 6 months. He also stated that he wished Kedarnath actor had reached out to him. Vishwaroopam director also said that what happened to Sushant is karma of his 'perpetrators' and t his. According to media reports, police officials have also confirmed that y will be recording statement of Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut for statements she had made on her social media after Sushant's demise. police officials are reportedly t able to make contact with Queen actor as she is currently residing in her hometown in Madhya Pradesh. actor will be summoned by officials once she is back in city.
