Owing to nationwide lockdown due to Coronavirus outbreak, Hindi film industry has come to a standstill with shoots of all films coming to a halt as well as  release dates of several films being postponed too. However, all filmmakers are having a hard time deciding wher to release film on streaming platforms inste or to stick with a atrical release. Shoojit Sircar to release Gulabo Sitabo online?

hit-machine of Bollywood Ayushmann Khurrana and Big B of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan have shared screen for first time in Shoojit Sircar's comedy-drama titled Gulabo Sitabo. film was slated to hit silver screens on April 17, 2020, but due to on-going Coronavirus crisis, release of film has been halted. Sharing his plans regarding film's release, director Shoojit Sircar, in an interaction with a leing daily, stated that as a filmmaker, he would want to see his film open in atres, but due to current situation, it is highly unlikely to expect so. He furr ded that refore, he is open to a digital release if need be, but y will jump to a conclusion only after May 3, 2020.

However, Sircar cleared air about release of  Vicky Kaushal starrer which is a biopic of Sardar Udham Singh, stating that film deserves a atrical release only. shoot of film has been wrapped up and it is still under post-production. refore, filmmaker is t worried about its release much, as it is scheduled to hit box office in 2021.
