Shraddha Kapoor Recalls Being Replaced In Movies Early In Her Career: It Was Very Demotivating

Shraddha Kapoor is one of the celebrated actresses in the Bollywood industry. She was last seen in Stree 2 and turned out to be the biggest success of the year. Although she has delivered major hits, there tends to be a certain gap between her projects. Amid growing excitement among fans about her next venture, the Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar actress finally explained why she takes breaks between films.

Shraddha Kapoor recalls being replaced at the start of her career

In a recent interview with Elle, Shraddha Kapoor addressed the many speculation herself. When asked about her upcoming project and the gaps between her films, she stated, “I do what I want to do. I’m not in a rush to sign films back-to-back… following my heart is what keeps me grounded.” Reflecting on her early days in the industry, she shared her struggles of being replaced in the films, She said, “Failure is indeed a very powerful teacher and a very important stepping stone towards success. I gave countless auditions at the beginning of my career. I was even finalised for a few films and then replaced. At that time, it was very demotivating.”

Despite these setbacks, Shraddha credits these experiences for shaping her into the person she is today. Her fans clearly admire her, proving that she is on the right path.

What is Shraddha Kapoor’s next project?

While the Baaghi actress has not spilled any beans about her line-up yet, there have been many rumours. Reports suggested earlier, she was set to film a special song with Allu Arjun for Pushpa 2, but Sreeleela replaced her. Speculation also linked her to a song in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Additionally, there were whispers of a reunion with Ranbir Kapoor for Dhoom 4. 

The duo last appeared together in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (2023). Shraddha is also rumoured to star in Nikhil Dwivedi’s supernatural film Naagin, which is expected to begin production next year. However, no official announcements have been made yet.
