Siddhant Chaturvedi has been basking in the success of his recently released movie Yudhra. It was the first time, the actor was seen in an action-thriller, alongside Raghav Juyal and Malavika Mohanan. Siddhant is now gearing up for his next film Dhadak 2 that will showcase him in a never-seen-before avatar. The movie was announced in May and co-stars Triptii Dimri. In a recent interview, the actor admitted that there is pressure to live up to the expectations of Dhadak 2 and revealed that it's a challenging role that requires a lot of emotional depth.

'I'm looking forward to bringing it to life on screen'

In an interview with IANS, Siddhant opened up about his character in Dhadak 2 and said it is different from what the audience has seen in the Indian cinema. “My character in the film is quite different from what has been seen in Indian cinema. It's a challenging role that requires a lot of emotional depth, and I'm looking forward to bringing it to life on screen with Triptii," he said. He added, "There's definitely pressure to live up to the expectations of Dhadak 2, but it's also exciting to be part of such a beloved franchise".

Dhadak 2 is a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal, directed by Mari Selvaraj. It will showcase the love story of a couple, who belong to different castes. The movie serves as the spiritual sequel to Dhadak, starring Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor .

Siddhant Chaturvedi's take on his action debut

Talking about being in an action film, something Bollywood is synonymous with after the musicals, Siddhant said it was a “dream come true” and that he gave it his all by training in Jiu Jitsu, MMA and much more for his role in the movie.

Siddhant added that he is "constantly learning and growing as an actor". Each film presents new challenges and opportunities for him to explore. Over the years, he has become more confident in his abilities, especially after the release of Yudhra. "I'm always striving to push myself beyond my limits. I believe that's what keeps me excited about my work," Siddhant said.
