Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh have collaborated for second time on screen for Marjaavaan. revenge action-drama film is currently running at box office, bringing in stable numbers over first weekend. Though critical reception has been negative for this film, mass audiences have reportedly enjoyed typical masala factor of film calling it a complete entertainment pack. Riteish and Sidharth were seen previously in Ek Villain which released back in 2014. Interestingly, Marjaavaan did t reach first-day collections of Ek Villain even after two days of being released. It will be interesting to see wher Marjaavaan will come close or go past collections of ir first collaboration on-screen.

Both Riteish Deshmukh and Sidharth Malhotra have struggled to give a hit at box office in recent years. Though Riteish's franchisal tie films like Masti, Dhamaal, and Housefull have been loved and celebrated by audience members, his solo outings have been evidently rejected. His releases like Bank Chor, Banjo, and Bangistan were big misses at box office, registering minimum audience footfalls.

Sidharth Malhotra, on or hand, hasn't delivered a hit film since Kapoor And Sons which released back in 2016. Malhotra was seen in a string of flop movies since 2016, even though some of his films were received well by critics, y were rejected by audience members. His films like Aiyaary, A Gentleman, Baar Baar Dekho, and Jabariya Jodi were flops at box office. Sidharth Malhotra evidently requires a big blockbuster after a list of flops. With Marjaavaan, Sidharth has reportedly impressed many fans as y liked his rogue avatar in film. It took a huge leap on Sunday at box office earning 10 crores. film's performance on weekdays will prove crucial to judge its overall run at box office.
