Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 5: Ajay Devgn Film Zooms Past ₹150 Crore Despite Dip

Singham Again Box Office Collection: Ajay Devgn starrer hit big screens on vember 1, coinciding with Diwali . film is directed by Rohit Shetty and features Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shoff, Deepika Padukone , Ranveer Singh , and Akshay Kumar in pivotal roles. Diwali holidays and extended weekend helped film's box office collections but it has w registered a dip in collections.

Singham Again box office collections take a hit after Diwali 

Singham Again opened to a staggering Rs 43.5 core on Day 1. According to trade website Sacnilk, movie minted Rs 121.75 crore (India net collection) by Sunday. However, first Monday hit hard for movie. As per Sacnilk, film minted Rs 17.50 crore on day 4. first working day after extended holidays can be attributed to fall in business.

same continued on day 5 of movie. actioner raked in Rs13.50 crore as per Sacnilk. movie's total business w stands at a positive Rs 153.25 crore. While film has breached coveted Rs 150 crore mark, it continues to register a decline at box office.

Singham Again box office collections marred by allegations of corporate bookings, self-buying

Bollywood filmmakers have recently been accused of highlighting inflated box office collections. Most recently, Alia Bhatt was accused of corporate bookings for Jigra. A similar controversy surrounded Singham Again. Social media users and industry trackers believe that film's final collection has been inflated by employing corporate bookings and self-buying. Additionally, some have even argued that prices of tickets for Rohit Shetty directorial were too high in first weekend, which led to increased prices.  

Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, third instalment in Singham franchise, features Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. Singham Again is presented by Jio Studios in association with Rohit Shetty Picturez and Devgn Films. It is fifth film in Shetty's ambitious cop universe, which also stars Akshay and Ranveer's characters Veer Sooryavanshi and Sangram Simmba Bhalerao.
