Singham Again Day 1 Advance Booking: Can Ajay Devgn Starrer Catch Up To Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3?

Singham Again Advance Bookings Report: Finally, after a long wait, the makers opened the advance bookings of Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone starrer on Monday, October 28. However, full-fledged advance bookings have not been opened due to a stalemate over the status of screen sharing.

Helmed by Rohit Shetty, the action cop drama has managed to rack ₹11.72 lakh in just 24 hours of announcement. There are 433 shows across India and 3177 tickets have already been sold. State-wise collection is being led by Mumbai with ₹5.98 lakh, followed by Delhi with ₹2.59 lakh. As just two days are left for the movie to hit the theatres, the movie has to rack in doubles or triples to leave a lasting impact on the box office in India.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers were asked to modify the 23-second-long "match cut" visuals depictions of Lord Rama, Sita and Lord Hanuman with Singham, Avni and Simmba respectively. They also asked to modify a 23-second-long visual of "Singham with Shri Ram, touching feet".

They were also asked to delete several scenes in the movie, starting with a 16-second visual of Raavan (Arjun Kapoor) grabbing, pulling and pushing Sita (Kareena Kapoor). Followed by a 29-second visual of Lord Hanuman burning and a flirt dialogue with Simmba ( Ranveer Singh ). The total length of cuts is 7 minutes and 12 seconds. So, the final length of the movie is now 144.12 minutes i.e. 2 hours 24 minutes and 12 seconds.

Meanwhile, the movie will be clashing with Kartik Aaryan's horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on November 1. Interestingly, both movies are the threequel of popular franchises - Singham and Bhool Bhulaiyaa - respectively.
