'Singham Again Team Was Being Unfair,' Says Bhushan Kumar Over BB 3 Limited Screen Allocation

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 producer Bhushan Kumar revealed that he had a lot of arguments with the Singham Again team over the screen allocation.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Mhuri Dixit, has been performing well at box office in India. movie has crossed ₹200 crore mark and is now eyeing to enter ₹250 crore club by end of week. However, producer Bhushan Kumar is unhappy and believes movie would have earned more h re been no "favourism" in screen allocation to Singham Again.

movie, which clashed with Ajay Devgn's cop drama, received around 6- per cent of screen allocation while Bholl Bhulaiyaa just received 40 per cent.

Bhushan Kumar opens up on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again clash

In an interview with Connect Cine, Bhushan Kumar, who backrolled Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, said he met Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn concerning clash and shared why he can't push movie. "I told m, I h announced film first and h some commitments to OTT platforms which is why I could not push film," he said.

Bhushan continued that Rohit and Ajay understood his plight. But even y h ir limitations as film's me was inspired by Ramayana, so y could not miss Diwali release.

Bhushan Kumar alleges, 're was some personal interest behind this favouritism'

In same conversation, he spoke about unequal screen allocation where Singham Again received more screens compared to BB3. "I didn’t go to Competition Commission. We h a lot of arguments with Singham Again team because y were being unfair. In all survey reports, we were equal; on that basis, we h requested competition commission to keep screen allocation 50-50. re was some personal interest behind this favouritism but y also assured me that y wouldn’t let my film bear losses," he said.

T-Series he-honcho ded that eventually, he suggested starting vance booking and seeing response as ir film was buzzing.

Despite clash and limited screen allocation, BB3 was able to surpass reported budget of movie ₹200 crore, while Singham Again is around ₹100 crore away from recovering amount.
