Singham Again vs Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: Has Ajay Starrer Secured 60 Percent Showcasing Across India?

Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again and Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have been battling over screen division as both movies are set to release on November 1. Makers of both movies have opened advance bookings with limited screens, but the full-fledged advance bookings in India have yet to be announced. Amid this, a report in Pinkvilla informs that Ajay starrer has secured 60 per cent showcasing across the National and Non-National Multiplex Chains.

How the screens are divided between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

According to Pinkvilla, PVRInox, the biggest movie chain, has considered a 60-40 split. The makers of BB3 were fine with a 50-50 split or 55-45 in favour of cop drama, whereas the makers of Singham Again were adamant about the 70-30 or 65-35 split in favour of their movie.

In Cinepolis, the ratio between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is 55-45 in favour of Ajay's cop drama.

Other movie chains -  MovieMax, NY Cinemas, Rajhans, MovieTime and Miraj - are also preferring Singham Again over Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The ratio is 60-40 between the two movies. However, there are some theatres that have allotted all shows to Rohit Shetty starrer.

Umair Sandhu seemed unimpressed by the third installment in the Singham franchise. Sharing his review on X, he said that it is an average fare with the director following a tried and tested formula. However, that does not work in its favour. "First Review #SinghamAgain: All that glitters is not gold. Only Action & Cameos then again Action & Cameos & then Action & Cameos in the Climax. #AjayDevgn Character is neglected by all Cameos lol. An Average Fare for Masses. Childish kind of Story & Dialogues," he wrote on X.

Umair Sanshu watched Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at a censor screening and shared his review of the film on X. He seemed disappointed by Kartik's performance but was impressed by the duo of Madhuri and Vidya, which he called "paisa vasool". His overall verdict of the film was average. "#BhoolBhulaiyaa 3 itself is a forced film. There isn't anything new in the premise to explore and that too with the same main lead.#VidyaBalan & #MadhuriDixit Combo only Paisa Vasool. #KartikAaryan is so irritating. He is the Worst Choice for series. Average (sic)," he shared on X.
