Sona Mohapatra takes on Vishal Dadlani after tweet on Maharashtra govt
Sona Mohapatra slammed Vishal Dadlani after he spoke of people's 'apathy' in Maharashtra government crisis, for working with #Metoo accused Anu Malik.

Sona Mohapatra doesn’t mince words and singer has proved this time and time again by lashing out at Anu Malik for sexual misconduct allegations against him in #MeToo movement. t just that taking on music composer, she has also been taking on those who have been supporting Anu Malik. After expressing her discontent with fellow singer Hema Sardesai supporting Anu Malik, she has w called out ar singer-music composer, Vishal Dadlani. As latter spoke about ‘apathy’ of people over current impasse in Maharashtra government formation, Sona said that he was a ‘hypocrite’ for boring about ‘apathy’ when he was t taking a stand and continued to work with Anu Malik on Indian Idol 11.

Amid current chaos between Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party and involvement of Nationalist Congress Party and Indian Congress, Vishal tweeted, “You kw what's incredible? 99% of Mumbai couldn't care less about whatever is going on with formation/n-formation of Maharashtra government. What amazing apathy! Such a disconnect with our own lives for next 5 years! Wow! #SpiritOfMumbai". Sona was t pleased and replied, “U kw what’s even more incredible?That U continue to give gyaan about ‘apathy’ to people who do t have 1 ounce of your money,power!se 99% struggle everyday.U don’t & yet choose to SAY & DO thing about multiple accused #MeToo co-judge Anu M on #IndianIdol ?Hypocrite much?”

Vishal Dadlani, Anu Malik and Neha Kakkar are judges on eleventh season of Indian Idol that is currently underway. Sona has t been hesitant about expressing her unhappiness over Anu Malik being brought on board show, much before he even started shooting. She has been constantly sharing her opinion over it on Twitter.

Previously, she had even slammed Sachin Tendulkar for praising show. She had written, “Dear Sachin, Are you aware of all @IndiaMeToo stories of multiple women, some mirs who came forward in public domain about Anu Malik, judge in this same Indian Idol show last year including ir own ex producer? Does ir trauma t matter or touch anyone?”
Recently, when Hema Sardesai had come out in Anu Malik’s support, she had reacted, “Somebody tell Ms Sardesai that yes, it takes two bodies to even get raped but that does t mean person getting raped is to be blamed? Also, this is called victim shaming & it is reason why mirs, survivors & ir families haven’t formally complained? Sick, Silly woman.”

Sona Mohapatra was among most prominent names to have raised her voice against Anu Malik during #Metoo movement in October last year. She had called him a 'predator' n. Neha Bhasin too joined in allegations against Anu Malik a few days ago, using same word.
