Sonakshi Sinha Justifies The Reason Behind Her Absence At An Event Held In Delhi

Recently, according to reports, Sonakshi Sinha was supposed to attend an event in Delhi, but she failed to do so and fans created a ruckus due to her absence and the organizers had Sona to blame for the commotion created and called her unprofessional. The 'Dabangg' actress was invited as the chief guest at an event which was being held in Delhi and Sona took time out of her schedule had agreed to that. The organizers claimed to have had made the payment in advance and even booked the flight tickets and hence not turning up for the event was very unprofessional of the actress.

However, as per recent reports, Sonakshi maintained her commitment and she did go to the airport to be able to attend the event but the organizers remained unresponsive. The reports stated that Sonakshi being a thorough professional never walks away from any commitment she makes unless there is an emergency. After Sonakshi was approached by the event organizers in Delhi to be their chief guest and the deal was finalized, the organizers failed to make the payment to Sonakshi even after the due date had passed, despite repeated reminders. The reports further claimed that this was a waste of Sonakshi's professional time and the organizers did not even book the return tickets considering she had a shoot the next morning. 

Apparently, the organizers remained sequestered with Sonakshi's team till the last minute despite all of the above and she hence decided to give it one last try by going to the airport. Sadly, despite following her professional codes, she had to return home from the airport because the organizers just weren't reciprocating.

On the professional front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in 'Happy Bhaag Jayegi'. She will next be seen in Karan Johar's epic drama 'Kalank',  which was initially planned 15 years ago by Karan Johar and Late filmmaker Yash Johar.  The cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. If reports are to be believed, Sonakshi Sinha will pair up with Saif Ali Khan in Anurag Basu's next.
