Leaving behind fields, vills, why have we stepped into cities? se hands that once used to plow fields, carry sacks and what w, why have y been w divulging in politics?” heart touching tribute of actress for farmers received immense love and appreciation from people in comment section. Farmer's Protest
Sonakshi’s tribute came after thousands of farmers have been protesting at Delhi’s borders with Haryana and Uttar Presh over removal of farm laws. However, government has maintained that new laws will bring better opportunities to farmers and introduce new techlogies in agriculture. As farmers' entered New Delhi during ir tractor march on January 26, tear gas shells were fired near Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, and farmers were seen heckling police personnel near ITO. Visuals also show that farmers are carrying sticks, despite Delhi Police circular stating it clearly that y are t allowed to carry any weapon. y proceeded to storm Red Fort and plant a flag re that wasn't Tricolour.
