Sonali Bendre is filled with gratitude after her year-long battle with cancer, Tahira Kashyap calls her a 'beautiful warrior'

Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre's struggle with cancer has been an inspiration for many. As the actress recently completed a year of fighting the disease, she took to social media and extended a touching message to mark the day.

The 43-year old who has kept fans updated with her transformations beautifully acknowledged her 'new normal' in an Instagram post. She recalled the bygone year with few lines from Rupi Kaur's book and posted an interesting collage of her before and after picture.

Sonali Bendre has had quite a rough 2018, as she was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer. But, the actress remained strong and fought her battles, regardless of all odds. She returned to India after several months of treatment in New York in December. Her positivity and undying spirit in such a trying situation have influenced many on the internet.

The post has received thousands of likes and huge appreciation from the stars, who came out to cheer for the Bollywood diva. Joining the bandwagon was another influencer Cancer survivor Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, whose courage and positive approach to deal with the deadly disease has been an inspiration to many.

She commented on the post saying, "You beautiful warrior😍❤️"
