Sonam Kapoor congratulates 'Bohemian Rhapsody' team for Golden Globe win

Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor, who seems elated on the big win of 'Bohemian Rhapsody', has expressed her joy over the film's victory. She took to her Twitter handle to share how she has always been a 'Queen' fan and opened up about how this film has made her fall in love with the band even more.

"I've always been a huge Queen fan and I fell in love with band even more after watching incredible Bohemian Rhapsody. Congratulations to entire team on ir Golden Globe win. #GoldeasianGlobes," she tweeted.

film's title 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is inspired by song of same name, written by late singer-songwriter Freddie Mercury in 1975. 2018 film is a biopic based on life of British rock band 'Queen' that followed Mercury's life from his joining band in 1970, to ir Live Aid performance at Wembley Stium in 1985.

It stars Rami Malek who essayed role of Mercury alongside Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy and Aidan Gillen in key roles. It was hands down, a big night for team of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' at  Golden Globes. Malek won an award for Best Performance by an actor in a Motion Picture (Drama) while film won a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Drama.

Meanwhile, on work front, Sonam will be next seen in 'Ek Lki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Lag' alongside her far Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Rajkummar Rao.  film is slated to release on February 1, 2019. She has also been shooting for ' Zoya Factor' which is an aptation of vel of same name by Anuja Chauhan. Apart from Sonam, movie also features actor Dulquer Salmaan.
