Sonam Kapoor offers aid in distributing ration to film technicians amid Coronavirus crisis
The Indian film fraternity has taken a decision to halt all film and TV shootings from March 19 till end of the month. This has affected the livelihood of many.

Film tre has suffered tremendously because of ongoing lockdown due to vel coronavirus outbreak all over world. With Bollywood film productions coming to a halt as a precautionary measure amid growing frenzy of virus, all lot of crew members including technicians and workers have been hit in terms of ir daily sustenance, monetary and orwise. Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) took te of same and requested members of film fraternity to come forward and lend a hand in enabling distribution of ration and or essentials to needy members of industry.

Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor has offered to contribute to cause initiated by director Ashoke Pandit, who is also president of Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA). She took to her microblogging account earlier on Tuesday and expressed her willingness to aid FWICE in doing needful.

Necessary steps taken by film fraternity
Earlier on Sunday, Ashoke Pandit, president, IFTDA informed, “We met on Sunday at IMPPA office and decided unanimously to shut down shooting. As for losses, we all felt jaan hai toh jahan hai.” association is said to analyse situation in country post March 31. Tre analyst Atul Mohan observed, “ film industry will suffer a loss of ₹80-90 crore every week. I think daily soaps will be worst hit.”. While directors Anubhav Sinha, Anurag Kashyap, and Sudhir Mishra welcomed move, y were concerned about remunerations of junior technicians such as light boys, set workers, sound assistants and like.
