Sonam Kapoor looked stunning as she walked the ramp as a showstopper for fashion designer Abhinav Mishra on Monday. Wearing a beautiful pink bridal lehenga from Abhinav's 'The Mehzabeen' Autumn/Winter 2019 collection, Sonam Kapoor looked royal and ethereal as she walked the ramp. There were also some background women who surrounded Sonam dressed as courtesans. Supporting and cheering the regal bahu, mother-in-law Priya Ahuja was spotted sitting in the audience ing Sonam's pictures. Anand Ahuja shared the moment on his Instagram story. Styled by celebrity stylists Mohit Rai and Ayesha Amin Nigam, Sonam Kapoor was photographer by The House of Pixels.

Want to be part of films that impact and entertain society: Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor says she wants to be part of films that would have an impact on society and be entertaining at the same time. "A film works when you have belief in a story and your character. Then it definitely works out. I also look if the story or my character is going to impact society and is it going to entertain people while saying something. I want to be part of films that say something to the society and entertain as well," Sonam told PTI.

Year 2018 has turned out to be good for Sonam starting with "Padman", "Veere Di Wedding" and "Sanju". "From the time 'Raanjhanaa' released, things are looking good. I am really happy about it. I had couple of directors who believed in me and also there was a shift in perception. It has been six years and thank God I have not seen any film that has failed," she said. Sonam was later seen in "The Zoya Factor" opposite Dulquer Salman, the big-screen adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's novel of the same name. Unfortunately, the film had an average run at the box-office. Directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Fox Star Studios and Ad-Labs Films Limited, the movie only made wasn't a commercial success.

Now, according to the reports, Sonam Kapoor has been roped in to star in Sujoy Ghosh's next which is a Hindi remake of South Korean film 'Blind'. There's no confirmation on this yet, though.
