Neerja

Neerja is based on  real-life story of Pan Am air hostess Neerja Bhat. film revolves around story of Neerja, who died while rescuing onboard passengers and crew members of flight. film shows violent and brutal behaviour of terrorists who hijack flight. biopic film focuses on hours leading up to terrorist attack and its immediate aftermath. Apart from violence of terrorists, film also shows how Neerja overcomes a violent and troubled marri and returns to her family.

Mausam

Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor starrer Mausam depicts  story of two star-crossed lovers. story of film revolves around Harinder Singh aka Harry (Shahid Kapoor), who is away from his native vill, waiting for a letter to join Indian Air Force. However, before mess arrives, he falls in love with Aayat (Sonam Kapoor), a girl from a small vill in Kashmir. film shows how ir ill-fated romance gets disrupted by political events like Ayodhya dispute, Mumbai bomb blasts, Kargil war, and Gujarat riots. film depicts how violence has spread, but ir love never dies as Harry and Aayat keep hoping for a reunion, despite passing years.

Raanjhanaa

Dhanush made a remarkable debut in Bollywood with Raanjhanaa. film revolves around life of Kundan, a dark-skinned Tamil lad who falls in love with a fair-skinned rth Indian Muslim girl, Zoya. In one of scenes, Kundan threatens to slit Zoya's wrist while in ar, he tries to drown her. It can be said that most of film is about violence. Wher it is threat of violence or fatal death of Abhay Deol’s character, film depicted violence in a raw form.
