Sonu Sood launched a helpline to arrange the journeys of stranded persons, as he made headlines for arranging buses for them. His gesture won hearts online.

actor has taken on mantle of sending migrant workers and ors stuck in Mumbai to ir homes in or cities by arranging buses. Apart from praises from netizens, which include numerous memes that has been terming him as a ‘hero’, Dabangg star is being hailed by actors, sportpspersons, police officers and even politicians. After arranging buses to states like Karnataka, Uttar Presh and Bihar and Kerala,  Sonu plans to send more such people to ir homes.

actor has also been making helines for responding to netizens who have been tweeting to him. t just assuring m that y will soon be reunited with ir families, he has also been urging m to send details so that he can make required arrangements. w, to ease process furr, Sonu has launched a helpline, where standed persons can register mselves to go back home soon.

Sharing news on Twitter, Sonu wrote to his brors of labour force, “If you are in Mumbai and if you wish to go back home, n you can call on this number 18001213711. Please share how many people are seeking to return home, place where you are stranded and your destination. I and my team will try our level best to help out”

Sonu h recently spoken to Republic TV and opened up on trouble of migrants during lockdown. He h said, ''This is t just ir problem, this is our problem too."

He ded, "se people have contributed so much in our lives. y are desperate to go home, you can't tell m to stay, things will be fine. y want to go."

"re are so many people that I saw near Dahisar and Thane area when I was distributing food. I spoke to m and asked m to wait till I got permissions. A lot of things aligned and first batch went to Kerala," he said.

"I am only trying to provide some comfort to m," he said.

Apart from stating that he plans to arrange 100 more buses, Sonu h also me helines for offering his six-storey Mumbai hotel as quarantine facility and distributing food to those who were observing fast during Ramzaan.
