Sonu recently shot a mess for initiative titled Mission Fateh. In a mess in Punjabi, he is heard talking about importance of wearing masks, social distancing and handwashing, with supporting visuals, to ericate coronavirus. actor shared how Punjabis h to be ‘Captains’ to follow se precautions to make state ‘Fateh’ (victorious). 

video was shared by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who called Sonu ‘our Punjabi boy’ thanked him for taking time to create awareness about #MissionFateh.

Earlier, Captain Amarinder Singh h praised Sonu for his efforts in helping migrant workers and or stranded persons travel back to ir cities. He h dressed him by his birthplace, Moga, in state, and called it ‘good work.’

Meanwhile, Punjab is among better-performing states in battle against COVID-19 with only 300 active cases at moment, and 47 deaths. Overall, number of active cases in India has risen to 1,06,737 and deaths reported have been 6075, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. India is currently in fifth phase of lockdown, that has been underway since last week of March.
