Stree 2 Box Office Collection Week 4: Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao Starrer Mints ₹760 Crore

Stree 2 has been running in cinema halls for four weeks now. It has emerged as a bonafide blockbuster, a first for Bollywood this year. Released in a three-way clash with John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh's Vedaa and Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu starrer Khel Khel Mein, the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer horror-comedy has grossed well over ₹750 crore worldwide. It will look to wrap up its glorious run by entering the ₹800 crore club.

Stree 2 box office run detailed

According to a report in Box Office India, Stree 2 has minted ₹759 crore worldwide so far. According to the breakdown, the collections are ₹640 crore (₹530.16 crore nett) in India and ₹119 crore ($14.25 million) overseas. With such numbers, the website predicted that Stree 2 will enter the ₹800 crore club in the coming weeks, becoming only the fourth Hindi film to reach the milestone after Jawan, Animal and Pathaan.

However, Stree 2's success is even more remarkable given the fact that it does not have any major stars leading the movie. The pull among the audiences abroad is also worth acknowledging.

Stree 2 overseas collection

According to Box Office India, Stree 2 grossed around $7 million in US / Canada and £3 million in the Gulf region. The United Kingdom could touch around £1 million mark. Apart from the three regions, Australia has also emerged  as a huge market for the movie, contributing over A$2 million to its business. It is the 11th Indian film to cross this mark in the country.
