In an interview with the publication, the director revealed that he was hesitant owing to the bald look she had to sport. He said that just like the first film, the sequel also demanded them to have a dance number. However, this time, they thought of giving meaning to it. He wanted artists who could dance well and were a good actress. So when he approached Tamannaah he was a little hesitant to ask her as the character Shama had to sport a bald look in the climax. The lore behind Aparshakti Khurana's viral song Soft Chitti

In one of the starting scenes, Aparshakti is shown singing Soft Chitti Warm Chitti to put his girlfriend to sleep the moment before she is taken away by Sarkata. The scene garnered major attention just for its lullaby and became one of the hot topics on the internet. While everyone thinks it is inspired by The Big Bang Theory's Soft Kitty, not many know the original source. The makers recreated a famous poem from the 19th century. It is a Polish lullaby titled Wlazł kotek na płotek, which means a kitten on a fence. It was reportedly written by Oskar Kolberg and was composed by Stanislaw Moniuszko.
