Stree 2: Teachers Day Performance By Students On Aaj Ki Raat Sparks Outrage: Highly Inappropriate

Stree 2: The Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao film has become one of the highest-grossing movies in Bollywood ever. Since its release, the horror comedy has been creating dialogue and discussion around it. Most recently, in a now-viral video, school students could be seen dancing to the song Aaj Ki Raat from the film. The students could be seen recreating the steps of the song originally filmed on Tamannaah Bhatia, whilst wearing outfits similar to the actress'.

School students recreate Tamannaah Bhatia's Aaj Ki Raat for the Teacher's Day celebration 

The Aaj Ki Raat song from Stree 2 has inspired several reel and video recreations on social media. However, a recent one has sparked massive outrage on social media. In a video, young school girls could be seen dressed as Tamannaah from the song and recreating the steps of the item number. The video is seemingly from a Teacher's Day function as a banner of Dr Rajendra Prasad adorns the background.

While the school's name and location remain unknown, social media users have been bashing authorities for letting young girls perform on the song which is laced with sexual innuendos. Some netizens have even demanded a ban on such songs so that it does not affect young minds. The videos are now going viral on social media.

Social media reacts to students dancing on Aaj Ki Raat 

The video of school children performing to the Stree 2 song is widely circulated online. A user on X (formerly Twitter) reshared the video and wrote, “Whose Fault ?  Bollywood OR Parents?” Another wrote, “Just saw a video of a small girl nearly 10 yr old dancing on aaj ki raat item song with wearing inappropriate clothes . I don't even know that girl but still, I feel too ashamed.” A user lashed out saying, “The obsession of these choreographers/parents to make their kids dance on numbers whose lyrics are not meant for them.” Another wrote, "I mean on what kind of teachers wanted to see students dance on song "Aaj ki raat husan ka maja lijiye"? Is that a school or some bar?"

Aaj Ki Raat features Tamannaah Bhatia in the video song from Stree 2. The actress makes a special appearance as the love interest of Pankaj Tripathi 's character in the horror comedy. Stree 2 is the sequel of the 2018 film and features Shraddha Kapoor Rajkummar Rao in the lead.
