Sunny Leone accused of 'copying' artwork, original artist reacts
The original artist Malika Favre reacted after Diet Sabya called out Sunny Leone for copying her artwork without giving due credit. Ragini MMS actress defends.

Sunny Leone is under spotlight and t for right reasons. actress recently on her social media said that she will paint a piece of art for auction to help raise money for cancer. Fashion critic and an anymous handle Diet Sabya took to ir Instagram handle and accused actress Sunny Leone of copying an artwork without giving due credit to original creator.

original painting is by French illustrator Malika Favre who also reacted on story and said: "Sunny Leone a credit would have been minimum... Intellectual property is a thing you kw? What if I didn’t want a copy of my work to be copied by you and auctioned? cause is commendable, attitude t so much."

In her defense, Sunny Leone dropped a comment on Diet Sabya's post and wrote: "Hello. Just to give you correct information , I was given a photograph of this piece of art. I n decided to paint it! At time did I claim to come up with idea. I simply painted a piece of art that I saw and loved. It should be taken as a compliment as it was being donated to cancer patients for charity. thing more and thing less. Sorry you don’t like version that I choose to create while helping children in Need. painting was t about you or I. It was about trying to help! Best of luck! Keep creating," she concluded. I don't see myself as a victim: Sunny Leone
Sunny Leone while speaking at launch of her biographical web series, "Karenjit Kaur- Untold Story of Sunny Leone" in July 2018 said whenever her name is dragged into controversies, she sometime feels like a "soft target" but does t identify as a "victim". In past, her dance performances have been cancelled and actor has been at receiving end of some politicians' sexist remarks. Asked if she feels victimised, Leone said, "I don't see myself as a victim but I may be a soft target. I believe people should have right to say what y want to, when y want to, how y want to, wher it's right or wrong is ir choice and moral stand. Most of time I brush it off because it's nsense... Sometimes it gets on my nerves. Does it hurt me? . Is it anying? Yes," actor, whose real name is Karenjit Kaur, told reporters here.
