Are opening day collections of a movie an indicator of box office pull of an actor? If yes, re has been an evident decline for Hrithik Roshan over years. After actor’s films like ‘Agneepath’, ‘Krrish 3’ and ‘Bang Bang’ from 2012-2015 collected close to Rs 25 crore on first day, ‘Lakshya’ star’s ventures in last four years like ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and ‘Kaabil’ have minted close to Rs 10 crore or just about mand to touch double-digit mark at box office. One can cite less ‘commercial’ or ‘masala’ aspect of se movies as compared to previous three, and 45-year-old's latest venture ‘Super 30’ has also followed same path in terms of both content and box office performance. Vikas Bahl directorial has earned Rs 11.83 crore on first day. However, good news is that movie is likely to grow over course of its run at box office.

Tre analyst Taran arsh termed collections of Rs 11.83 crore as ‘decent’ and stated that business picked up in areas like Mumbai and South towards evening shows. However, he stated that it was ‘ordinary/dull’ in mass pockets, but it is likely to grow on Saturday and Sunday, and n weekdays would be crucial. 

factor that would work most for movie is that reviews have been largely positive. Many of celebrities like Karan Johar, Kriti San, among ors and netizens have praised it with intense words.

‘Super 30’ is likely to replicate Hrithik’s last film ‘Kaabil’ in 2017, which h also opened in Rs 10-crore range and went on to cross Rs 100-crore mark. In that case, however, re was a battle against Shah Rukh Khan ‘Raees’, but this time re are major obstacles.

‘Super 30’ also stars Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Nandish Sandhu, among ors and is produced by Sajid Niwala, Phantom Films and Reliance Entertainment.
